I think we're all going crazy
A little more each day
Living for something
That don't mean a thing
So I bite my tongue
The same as you
'Cause if we let our minds wonder
There ain't no getting through
To the end of the day
When we're all dressed the same
Blood, bones, and young dreams
Watching time slip away
Well I miss those days
When I laughed at the system
I thought I had figured out
Something they'd been missing
But now I'm crying
In your loving arms
As you say to me "Child,
Oh you've done nothing wrong."
At the end of the day
When we're all dressed the same
Blood, bones, and young dreams
Watching time slip away
Well I'm not much for talking
If the talking is cheap
But lately I'm up for anything
If it helps me fall asleep
'Cause I never thought
I'd wind up like them
Caught in a riptide
Before I learned how to swim
At the end of the day
When we're all dressed the same
Blood, bones, and young dreams
Watching time slip away
Blood, bones, and young dreams
Watching time slip away
A little more each day
Living for something
That don't mean a thing
So I bite my tongue
The same as you
'Cause if we let our minds wonder
There ain't no getting through
To the end of the day
When we're all dressed the same
Blood, bones, and young dreams
Watching time slip away
Well I miss those days
When I laughed at the system
I thought I had figured out
Something they'd been missing

Nice! Hearing shades of Mr. Isakov from the other room made me come and see that it's by a new artist finding his own ascendancy. Inspiring, insightful lyrics well sung, and melody prettily played -- well done!
I logged in thinking this may be Gregory Allan Isokov and found it wasn't. So a lovely new discovery, thank you. 👍
Damn fine lyrics. Carries the song for me. Solid 7 +

Bill actually posted a letter to all of us about this, if you haven't heard. Bill's significant other, our beloved Rebecca has retired. There is a new face or two at the studio now and, Bill indicated in that letter, that the main mix was going to significantly expanding. TBH, I'm quite liking hearing many more new songs! As I'm sure you know, RP is THE home of eclectic! That being said, the main mix is adding a bunch more eclectic and otherwise. I applaud these two, having taken on mainstream and, ultimately, left comm. radio eating dust! Let us all welcome the new additions, both to our ears and, to the station! As if it hasn't already been quoted squillions of times... Long Live Radio Paradise! Best wishes for a truly deserved retirement and, thank you, Rebecca and Bill, for giving and, continuing to give us listeners some really awesome listening experiences!
I agree, although, I am a subscriber but never did receive such a letter.

OK BILL: now I'm very curious...what's with the huge heaping of new music being introduced this past few weeks?!

Seems that the album/EP should also be listed as 'Horizons'
A lot of people hearing the voice of another artist in this guy's voice. Not surprised by that - I'm hearing John Mayer...
Play us some more Cujo Moon Bill! This particular song has a good JJ Cale vibe. His other songs are good too!

I know I'm digging the new and new old music. RP never rests on it's laurels, but keeps refreshing the wreath.
This is very nice, placed in the road trip playlist as an 8.

I thought it was new Gregory Alan Isakov (which is a good thing)
Oh my, I really like this!
Very nice.
Nuff said.
Thanks for playing.

Reminds me of Salt in the Wound by Julien Baker / Boygenius.

This is funny. All the "sounds like" "I thought it was" Comments show up when it's a new female artist. This slog sounds like several others it's derivative of. Let's see who notices.
Spare and simple...and real. Great feeling to his voice and the smoothnesss of the melody. Would hear this again without complaint for sure. Nice find RPers...cheers to the discovery!
