First of all, we need people not named Ron Paul to show the same courage he has shown on these particular issues and start talking about them openly (I'm not talking about his End the Fed stuff or cutting social programs, see the topic title).  We need people from across "party lines," and those who are unaffiliated with any of the stupid American political parties to SPEAK UP!  

Sadly there are almost no GOPers besides Dr. Paul who share his opposition to war (even less now that Gary Johnson is running as a Libertarian).  And the Dems outside of Kucinich have gone silent, or those like Hillary and Obama are affirmatively supporting it.  Barack only took the troops out of Iraq cause he couldn't get them immunity.  I voted for him to end the war within a year and he BROKE his promises.  

We need more antiwar, anti-prohibition, and pro-civil liberties voices out there in the "mainstream."
