As an update to this problem.  Roku folks told me to press home 5 times, fast forward 3 times and rewind 2 times.  You enter a secret screen.

That's when their live chat connection fell over.    But I did discover that my software release channel was "Beta" rather than "Release".

So who knows about that.  Chat with Roku is a bit tedious.

So I ran a software update and I know have a new build and RP is streaming !!!

But I also purchased a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 (on the same day a few months ago) for my TV setups.  The Roku has a slower processor but has analogue stereo out which is really handy because I am not a fan of Digital HDMI Surround sound stuff. So the Roku 2 works well but I do find the initial tune-in to take over 1 minute while it buffers.   

On the other hand the Roku 3 is speedy and tune-in time is virtually instant.  To connect it to a high end analogue amp I use the HDMI out to a "PAN LONG" box which breaks out the stereo on RCA left and right.  

So that's a summary of my setup.  

But in the past few days the Roku 3 (and only the 3) will not tune in RP.  I get a message indicated "CHECK YOUR NETWORK CONNECTIONS".   

Bill, do you think the Roku has changed the provisioning or broken the APP for your channel ?

I am talking to Roku now on their chat line and they are looking into it.

If I get an answer from Roku I will post here.
