i have a few ai gizmos (alexa and google home)

once you learn how to communicate with them both are good at the narrow definition

as i understand it both companies are obviously pumping resources to expand their capabilities

after investigating both programs and geeking out with both i give google the edge

google it is definitely more comprehensive (i put one on my desk and i ask it questions related to work)

i like the fact that google offers a privacy button/switch and that they can link/play together

i listen to a lot of podcasts like serial and i can walk around the house and never miss a beat

rp piped all over the house is pretty cool too

sound quality is ok (not nearly as good as say sonos) but for most media consumption it works just fine

Just bought a Fire 8 HD.  Downloaded the RP app and its up and running.  First app for anything on any device I've ever downloaded.  First tablet for that matter.  Still getting familiar with it but so far, so good.  Looking forward to figuring out Alexa.

The way I've listened to RP previously on Alexa is via Bluetooth connected to my tablet. But the way you suggested is much more convenient.

Did you know that you can stream RP from an Amazon Echo or other Alexa-enabled device? Just say "Alexa, Radio Paradise from TuneIn" and BAM! Pretty cool, although I wish there were someway to ask what song is playing or activate PSD from time to time...
