This is probably a good time for all of us that missed RP to send them some money for all their trouble and sleepless nights wondering how they could fix the problem when it was Roku all the time.!!

I have a 'travel' Roku3 that hasn't been used since last January. I drove to Vegas Saturday, and then up to the Bay Area Wednesday for Turkey Day. Knowing about the issue, I set up the Roku Saturday afternoon and it worked! Played RP all evening without a hiccup. I thought "great, they've got it fixed!" I left it running all night muted, didn't want to cause an interruption. Sunday morning I turned on the TV and RP was playing... for about a minute. The Roku self-rebooted and brought on the 33% problem. Bummer. I read the thread this morning about the fix. I tried Bill's suggestion to manually update and it reports that I've got the latest. (Software 7.5.0 - Build 4096) It's still - Buffering... 33%

Very sorry you had to endure that. Warning to others: calling Roku tech support will not be useful in any way. The only cure for the problem is the update that's slowly being rolled out. In some cases, you can speed that up by going to Settings -> System -> Update.

A 2 hour phone call to ROKU support in India was a "Ground Hog Day" event where they made me do a speed test, unload/reload channel, reboot router, reboot roku etc..etc.. and refused to listen to the issue or push a firmware update. She said "dont worry... " about 27 times and finally said i just "have to wait"....

Yes. You can probably speed up the process by manually checking for updates, but eventually the new version will be installed automatically.
