Signing up for piano lessons, being offered virtually this year through the U music department. I need to re-learn how to read music, and figure out if I enjoy playing or not. At least Weezie seems to be okay with me playing.

Managing to find the dang bolt that came off my mower last week. Thank goodness for the loan of a metal detector! I did NOT want to mow over this thing!

Having (with the help of several good friends) managed to install a small window a/c unit in my walk-up, partially finished attic. That's where my "gym" is, and so I've been able to do really well with working out, at home.

If it weren't our kids, who or what else could make us old-timers happy? RP and their ingenious playlists do help a lot! Small and simple pleasures are often underrated...

I have a feeling I am going to be worked to death.

I’ve got about 9 days of leave to burn before the end of the year. Nice to have several long weekends to TRY and be productive around the house. Haha

I usually burn all my time off pretty quickly, but my nose has been to the grindstone this year and my manager informed me that I have not been taking my days off and have 3 weeks I have to take pronto or lose them. I now have 21 of 30 days in November off! I have a feeling I am going to be worked to death.
