here's an idea: seeing how most of the rest of us don't want to live under a murderous kleptocracy that fails miserably in most social metrics and displays complete disdain for the life and well-being of its own citizens, why don't you guys who do support it, just go and live there?
For I have absolutely no interest in arguing with you anymore. If you can't see with your own eyes that Russia is basically playing out the Nazi rule book to its bitter end and you still try to spin this as some kind of righteous war and invasion after all the atrocities that have happened and continue to happen, then you are simply beneath contempt.
simple: they have been told (and believe) democracy, specifically liberal democracy, is the issue that they should abolish
and that includes initiating violence, force and coercion on peaceful peeps
because justified (ends justify the means)
the west is code for the devil
messianic marxists don't tolerate the unbelievers
it is as if we've been invaded by a strange form of regressive earthly borg missionaries
and living under an authoritarian/autocrat?
usually i ask if they have ever had a conversation with anyone who has lived under one of these "systems"
i'm guessing not
just look at the people pouring across the borders of any pro-human country (aka voting with their feet)
they're fleeing those types of governments/dictatorships
risking life and limb and handing over their life savings to smugglers to get the chance of reaching a liberal democracy
My mind goes to that lovely Donovan lyric from the Scottish singerâs Zen enlightenment phase. Remember âThere Is a Mountain?â The famous lines went, âFirst there is a mountain/ Then there is no mountain/ Then there is.â
It's that neo-Nazi voodoo!
@NoEnzLefttoSplit: But they get paid so well...and you can't buy good stuff in Russia.

Yes, the US support for Ukraine might have reached it's peak, while the rest of the world just hasn't realized it yet. Meanwhile, the weapons industry has received a Xmas-gift like boost in their earnings (planned, or not), while most all of the western nations have been suffering economic damage, due to US sanctions imposed on Russia...
Be it as it may. - I'd be happy to not wake to the snow from atom bombs' fallout, as long as I (and my kids) have to live, over here in Europe.
Oh yeah, Death's Head images on patches definitely makes you a nazi. Like this:
..as worn by the US 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment during WW2. You know, when they were fighting actual Nazis.
Or this:
I mean...they are in Ukraine, and they're pretty Nazi-like, and they are named after Hitler's favorite composer.
That's the Wagner Group, Russian mercenaries responsible for the meat grinder siege of Bakmut.
But did you even read the article you linked to? Pretty much says the opposite.
Joe Cirincione: "International relations scholar John Mearsheimer is brilliant, provocative and deeply insightful. I have had the pleasure to know him and to have lectured to his class at the University of Chicago. On Ukraine, however, he is dangerously wrong.
In numerous essays and articles, Mearsheimer focuses his fire on U.S. and NATO policies for causing the Ukraine war and for its continuation. His speech, âWhy Is Ukraine the Westâs Fault?â has been viewed more than 27 million times. These views are echoed by many on the far left and the libertarian right, as well as the center. This makes it all the more vital to understand the gaps in his analysis that produce such a flawed result. His security equation is missing key variables."
