What a character he was. Both grumpy/direct and Passionate/sincere. I'm sure that his combat experiences and welcome home party put a hard edge on him but he definitely had a finer human side and absolutely loved music. Super funny. I miss him also. Probably carried some dark stuff around. I hope that he currently thrives out there somewhere and has made peace with it all.

Indeed! A genuine character, prone to occasional bouts of kick ass, and take zero effs. Every time I see a mention of Steve Vai, I think of him.
