Great album...it was pretty refreshing when it came out. Love Roger...he calls a spade a spade, very vocal about our collective stupidities. This is pretty hopeful for him.

Roger was the primary songwriter and occasional lead singer. Gutiarist David Gilmour was the lead singer on most of post Syd Barret Floyd.

This is a great CD to listen to, especially if you've forgotten that awful feeling that nuclear destruction was inevitable back in the mid-80's. What a different world we live in today. Kind of.

I just can't help but to like Roger Waters, even though I wish I could just say, "Yes, I know your dad died in the war, but fer chrissakes that was over 60 years ago! Time to move on!" But then, he goes and writes something that makes me think he did just that.

Yes, the full title of the song is "The Tide is Turning (After Live Aid)." I think it's interesting to compare this song to the album-closing song on his next album, "Amused To Death." Apparently Waters' optimism for the human race was kind of short-lived.

Great song, sadly were turning in the other direction as of late. Be good to hear some of Roger\'s other stuff, \"Three Wishes\" and the title track from Amused or Sexual Revolution from Pros and Cons, with Clapton\'s blistering gutiar.
