Don't think you should be driving with headphones on...

I find this tune irritating at best. I like the delay trick stuff...but that doesn't hold this together for me.
The Orb sampled the drums for Blue Room...

Thanks Bill and Rebbecca for introducing me to the source!

LLRP suckers
I hear billy ray cyrus achey breaky heart in it.

Because it works?

Does anyone else kinda hear the Macarena in there? Maybe I've been to too many weddings lately...
It is. It's Macarena by a bunch of people who think they're really clever. :-s
This song is a loop of loops all looped together. Oh, wait . . . it does have an ending!!!
Truly a classic track for its time. And I think the fact that Delerium tracks are busy is what makes them so great. You can really see this fact on their newer CDs. Listen to their tracks in a pair of headphones and listen to all the little things that are happening that add rhythm or melody. Also listen to how well mixed their later work is. There would be a tendency for the busyness to run into each other but the mix keeps each melody of rhythm part separate but together at the same time.

The Orb circa 1991... indeed
death by boring music... :skull:
Playing this after Gotan Project was really like overkill. I didn't even hear a seguae(sp?)! More for late nite tripout background music. :drunk:

It's unbelievable how many stupid comments are posted by people who have no idea what they are talking about. Anyone worth their salt knows that that is a classic Delerium song off of a classic album.
What a dreadful shock! I thought my morning was going along okay, but then this song came on and started annoying me, and THEN, to top it all off, I read that I'M NOT WORTH MY SALT! Aaaaaah! Life spiraling out of control... help... me...

This is making me Delirious. :puke:
For some, that would be a good thing. :meditate:
Ommmmm.... putting me in a very transcendental state. I have most of Delerium's many CDs but their earlier work is darker and purer (less pop more trance) :goodvibes:
This is making me Delirious. :puke:
Reggae meets Tangerine Dream. Hear this nowhere else but RP, which is why I listen (and send money). Keep it up!! =P~ :drunk:
 "perpetual daaawwnn" I like Delirium, but the influnce on this track is so strong they might as well call it a remix.
Sounds liek somebody gave these guys too many effects in the studio, and they just HAD to use all of them... "Hey guys! A sampler. Cool. Let's use that. And LISTEN! Phase shift , compression, chorus, AND delay. All at the same time!" "Whoa! That sounds cool..."

Bullseye!
Macarena?
Sounds like Kruder & Dorfmiester and some off Thievery Corp tracks. Like it. :)
Let me add one more \"stupid\" comment: Heeeey Macarena!

DELERIUM is getting to be a fave of mine, much as ENIGMA was in their first few years. i just received \"Poem\", and it is a great album (ps, i used the hyperlink above to purchase it via AMAZON.COM). i am gonna buy all my music via the hyperlink. peace :bounce:
Does anyone else find their stuff reall really busy? 1 delerium song = 3 enigma songs played at once
dogs on alert, that is funny
Less of this please
When did Ziggy Marley join Tangerine Dream? (And why?)
Aptly named band. I don't care for sampling in general but I don't generally think it's sacrilegious, just unethical. But sampling Tibetan monks, likely without their permission, likely without having any idea what it is they're actually chanting (those are religious chants, not just sounds), does seem sacrilegious, perverse and kinda ignorant. I doubt "consensual" would describe their use of the monks' voices. Okay, I'm ranting now.
These guys are capable of some great music. This one seems to rather mind-numbing.
This song put my dog on alert, running around with her ears up inthe air, trying to figure what the hell was going on. I'm wondering too. UFOs coming?
I\'ve like other Delerium that I have heard here, but this getting annoying I am afraid...
Leaves me cold. Who told these guys cheesy Star Wars/Space Mountain-type effects would sound good? I\'m ready for some real music now.
God! I love this album! Always great for a sunny Friday or a sensual soiree. Does listening to head music make me a 'head'? Love their blend and transitional rhythms! Thanks, RP! Just please Please PLEASE don't ever follow this up with ANYthing Neil Young!! ;)
Delerium is good.. lots of good sound coming from them.. listener for 3 + years now...
I\'ve been listening to some \"electronica\" radio stations, (to know what I\'m talking about before I start to judge techno, etc.) and considering what they play, I have to conclude that RP is selecting the genre\'s most interesting and relevant tracks. Though, emotionally, it\'s still of little meaning to me.
Not bad, Front Line Assembly has done some interesting stuff under this name.
