So coooooooooool, so nice!!!! I love it!!!!
Excellent Tune! I never heard of this band, prior to RP. Now, I like a LOT of their tunes! That is why we come here. Thanx RP!
TC all day!
These guys make interesting sounds, but their songs leave me cold.
"I feel that" 'fat boy ....' ... I like as well?
I've been hearing them here for awhile, and I've just got to invest in something by them. Maybe this one . . .
The Thievery Corporation do the Indian/Eastern thing really well. Is the CD cover shown (above) actually the back of the album or is it meant to look like that?
wish I had a doobie for this one
This song is all about.... a cool long drink, dancing in the hot summer dark in minimal clothing ....I think.
I hate when I recognise a stock loop/sample in a song (the tablas). It should´nt make the track worse, but it does.
Outstanding. This is the soundtrack to 40 plane flights for me. Always makes me remember watching mountains go by from 30,000 feet up.
Like the Persian Kamanche in the background but only good for meditation.

Not soon enough.

Nah, I don't agree. This is not 'great' music, but it is saved, for me, by juxtaposition of beautiful sounds. I don't find it boring.

Suit yerself. IMHO it's feckin' ace, a fine fusion of electronica, Indian and Middle Easter music. 8 from the Nottingham jury.
how come this reminds me of massive attack ?

Very good muzik ... for being on hold on the phone, riding in an elevator, or for watching static on TV. Gosh, the things people are doing with loops in "GarageBand" these days. Blech. :-P
Perfect follow-up to Beth Orton's Thinking About Tomorrow.
always creative, unique and a treat for sore ears tired of hearing byrne regurgetation (spelling?) give me the Corporation!!!
peaceful intelligent music, touches my soul and leaves me with a slight smile

Neither, actually.

Pretty good album, if you like chill out music, trip-hop, and ambient material. Not as good as the DJ Kicks TC album, which IMHO is still their best. But very nice, nonetheless.

Bit too loopy for my taste, but still decent.
An escape to exotic lands.

That would be anything by Boston.
Very relaxing vibe, makes it perfect for me.
Will have to check this album out.
Nope. Never heard a Thievery Corporation song that I disliked.

It is a bit boring...good meditation music, maybe, on a low volume....in the background...
This is very cool soiree music
Cant decide if its a very boring song or a semi-interesting ring tone.

Again, that same signature TC drum pattern.
While I love TC ... this one is a definite NO. Gave it a 3.
Ummmmmmmm...........no.
One of my least favorite Thievery tunes.
resonance with the One

DIG it! I can see why people would think this is monotonous, but I love this whole album. Great to work to, great to commute to work to, great to grill & chill.
Yeah, this track, and much of MC is better 'chill out' music than active listening music. I like it though.
wow this sucks!
sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Although I quite like most of the TC music I've heard here on RP, this some is a bit too repetitious and monotonous for me. A third chord would have been a blessing.
The soundtrack for a long bowel movement
Painful! Monotonous! Uninspired!

Five years since i first heard Thievery - now they are my band of the year for 2005...very Blu Room. Recently I only found out 24 hours before they were playing a small club in Manchester (England) and wouldn't you know it, this was precisely the evening that i was committed to a wedding bash (not mine) where the music proved to be horrendous and definitely not by Thievery Corp. Cheers, Bryan199.
This song worked very well for my background music of my picture slideshow of my Southern Africa vacation :sunny.gif:

Ok RP. You win. This group is growing on me. Kudos to you, for I had never heard of Thievery Corporation before RP, and the first couple of listens turned me off. However, they are starting to grow on me, so I am learning something!!! Thanks!
UPDATE: I have now purchased several Thievery Corporation albums through the RP link to Itunes. Thanks RP for expanding my musical horizons!

Can you say "monotonous"?
Hooray for Bollywood! I dig the hint of curry in this.
Good tune off a solid album. Thanks, RP.
Fine music for when I crave solitude. Hard to explain, really.

Interesting!
such a dull
This sounds right out of the soundtrack for Atom Egoyan\'s excellent film \"Exotica\". That said: this song bites.
Very nice. :)
