Behind all your tears
There's a smile
Behind all of the rain
There's a sunshine for miles and miles
Everything
Everything
You mean everything
You mean everything
Everything to me

The colors of your garden
They're yellow, blue, and green
And the sound of your sweet voice
It's better than all my dreams
Everything
Everything
You mean everything
You mean everything
Everything to me

You're my first thought in the morning
When I rise
You're my last thought in the evening
When I rest my head at night
Everything
Everything
You mean everything
You mean everything
Everything to me

Hmmm. I hear Little Feat.
What is about this incompetent 1,2,3 Ratings? For me a great song from a great album! I rated it with 8.

y'all're nuts, this rocks.
 like a baby's cradle.

Has a nice Lee Michaels feel to it.

another generic, redundant song by ben. he's lost it.
I disagree. Have you heard his new album, "Both Sides of the Gun"? Very politically driven, as is a lot of his stuff. Very good. If you can't connect with this man, I just don't know if I want to be your friend?
Fairly generic sounding.

this is the worst of Ben Harper. I am starting to wonder about the selection process.
there is good stuff from this guy?
Wow no posts since jan. Well, I dig Ben..
y'all're nuts, this rocks. Nice.

Havn't heard this one from Ben and it's good like most of the others

Some nice guitar work, but the lyrics do nothing for me.
More than doing nothing, I find the whiny lyrics plain annoying.
I really am liking Ben Harper, and this one is no exception. I'm not sure what's up with people saying this song is bland or emotionless. Oh well, to each their own. I really, really enjoyed Harper's "Fight for your Mind" album.
yea! bravo!

I agree - very mediocre. I can't get on the Ben Harper wagon.
You are missing the point. This may not be Ben's greatest song, but he is one of the most interesting and vital musical voices on the scene today. Ben Harper is important and says things about our common reality you should try to listen to.

ben harper just comes across as bland to me. no soul whatsoever. kind of like a earthier version of lenny kravitz.
you're not hearing the same ben harper i am! hehe. it doesn't mean you're wrong, just different. ^_~
ben harper. oh yes. this guy never disappoints me, actually. i was seeing posters up at defcon 11 advertizing a show he was having along side another couple of bands. i was upset that i wasn't going to be able to go, because i wasn't legal drinking age, and we were going to have left for PHX by the time the show was on. anyway, great song. me likey. more ben harper is good ben harper.
nice tune by a great artist

Some nice guitar work, but the lyrics do nothing for me. *shrug* sounds like he might be better live. IMHO. J
I just can\'t get on the Ben Harper bandwagon. All his stuff just seems bland to me. Maybe I\'m missing something.
This guy sounds like Eagle eyed Cherry. That is not a compliment. :(
not this again! so mediocre... unoriginal... annoying
He sounds emotionally unattached to his music.

yeah man, goosebumps at Bonnaroo!
Some nice sounds (slide guitar), that have snuck into an otherwise bland song.

I have heard that his live work is pretty amazing. I haven't had the opportunity to see him live, but I trust the recommendation of a good friend of mine.
