Not their best tune.
Their first two albums were thrilling and unpredictable (in the best possible way). Then they decided they'd rather fill arenas with middling pop tunes, and that turned me right off. Next.

I'm a little concerned about the lyrics to this tune. It sounds nativist to me.

It might have been a fair reference when written but it's questionable in today's  political landscape.

Maybe I've just had too much to think.
Don't like much about these guys at all, and the vocalist seals that deal.
They are an interesting, skilled, and experimental band. I like some of their stuff a lot. I'm particularly impressed by cousin Matthew Followill's guitar playing.
I'd take Pickup Truck  off of this same album over this track though.
This one's somewhere between a 7 and 8 for me.
Hope they keep evolving.

I really like these guys. Saw them twice at separate Sasquatch festival instances years ago. Still one of my favorite shows and bands.

I completely agree.  I was listening to their old stuff back before anyone else knew of them and I'm still listening to the first two albums more than any of this new stuff.  It sounded much less produced and real.  They weren't trying to conform to any particular sound that commercial radio wants to play.  They also have some awesome b-sides and alternate versions to their older stuff that's worth listening to.  I hear that this new album will be more like Aha Shake and Youth and Young Manhood and I hope that's true.

I agree.  Started listening and loving them with Youth and Young Manhood.  Everyone thought we were crazy.  I won free tickets to see them and BRMC and was so excited.  (right before Sex on Fires and after Howl)  It was one super concert and plenty of room.  Kings were known in Europe but certainly not here in middle America.  They are very "real"   yet they don't get any credit for their music.

I fear the novelty of this song will wear out very quickly, just like their previous songs.

Been loven' these guys for years... Kinda cool/sad that they are getting so big.

A few notes in and I find I like it better than their earlier efforts.
Have to admit, I kind of like this.

Certainly better than the Firm's "Radioactive."
