This dude is awesome. Only on Radio Paradise do I get to know artists like this. Thanks!

I agree! Hard to even read comments from naysayers! Just the list of what Bill/RP wrote of his background, this guy is 5 stars in many ways, it seems!

Nope.  Mindless shredding.  If you want truly great guitar playing with exceptional musicianship look to Guthrie Govan.

So YOU say! KFC bucket or not, the guy has accomplished more than many others! That, Sir, does NOT indicate "mindless". Perhaps not to your taste but, with the rather lengthy list of "have done it's", this one track leaves me thirsty for an entire album! To each their own.

The guy can shred, but geez find another chord or 2 please!!!🙏

There's always the PSD button!

Ingenious! Buckethead integrates several guitar style eras in one song. Very ingenious. And it rocks...

Indeed, it does! I often will click the wiki link but, with RP's write up, I think that "ingenious" is almost too "lightweight" a term to describe! Wear whatever he wants...with his abilities and background, no need to really know more! Not really a tune that one can "follow", as with other "story" songs but, the sheer skills this one track offers, methinks I'm going to have to look for more! Quite captivating, to say the least!

Buckhead is AWESOME! His other 4,000 or songs are pretty good too
I'd say about 7 minutes too long

I guess that’s an accomplishment.
Great  tune for band practice     Go man go
This is so Robin Trower! I love it!

He's been around for a while. Freaked Ozzy right out, showing up in that mask and a KFC bucket for a session.
The boy can play.
I'm sure this guy's technique is fantastic but this is just a series of riffs.  Half expected Smoke On The Water to creep in somewhere.
I thought Bill said he was going away from songs with guitar solos.......
I hope Aunt Suzie appreciates it.
Excellent!
Yes, that is good…
Fantastic guitar.  Why though only 2 tracks from BH on RP?
For those of you who want to get into Buckethead but don't quite know where to start, doomtuber decino has your back:

Meh. I don't see what all the fuss is about.
In Italy we say "esagerato!"

I really enjoyed this rocking song.

Not a typo, seriously.
Mindblowing! A definite 10 from me!
Lucky you Aunt Suzie!
Listened to it for the first four minutes and then it was just a guy wanking off on his guitar.  Sorry but I'll take Jimi Hendrix,, David Gilmour and another dozen guitar players over this every day....I could be wrong but it was irritating.

At first, I thought this was nice…and then it just got repetitive.  It does get better, but the first half lost me.

Thank you Bill!

Indeed! How is that possible that this virtuoso with such a massive output is known only in guitar circles? This guy is just incredible! I stopped what I was doing to listen to this piece. Amazing!
Yes - he can play the guitar!
Sorry - no other emoji possible.
whoa!  this was awesome, thanks RP!

Oh, first play and I am listening to it. What a nice surprise. I try not to get mislead by the weird choose of his hat, instead enjoying the nice music.
