A rookie policewoman in America failed to recognise Bob Dylan after stopping him following a report of an "eccentric looking man" acting suspiciously.

I heard a similiar story about Bob Dylan's tour bus stopping at an Indianapolis Pizza Hut about twenty years ago. The bus and crew left without Dylan. During that hour he sat on the sidewalk in front of the Pizza Hut and no one recognized him. I never verified whether that really happened, but it wouldn't surprise me much if it was true, given that he's somewhat reclusive and not seen in public very often.
