This is the land where I live
Paint it all over golden
Take a little sunshine spread it all around
This is the love that I give
These are the arms for the holding
Turn on your love light shine it all around
Turn on your love light shine it all around
Shine it all around, shine it all around
These are the times of my life
Bright and strong and golden
This is the way that I choose when the deal goes down
This is the world that I love
Painted all over troubled
Take a little sunshine shine it all around
Send a little sign now, spread it all around now
Shine it all around now, when the deal goes down now
Shine it all around
This is the heart of the man
This is the heart of the matter
Break a little bread now spread it all around
Comon, breake a little bread now, all around
Shine it all around, shine it all around
Paint it all over golden
Take a little sunshine spread it all around
This is the love that I give
These are the arms for the holding
Turn on your love light shine it all around

Cliché, predictable, unimaginative.
And a solid 8.

Hope there's nothing wrong with me or my ears if I thought of Jack White at first....?
Best of RP and RP!!! ❤️

For those pining for Robert Plant singing Led Zep: my favorite version of "Kashmir" , performed at a concert in tribute of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. Jason Bonham on drums in case you were wondering.
Robert Plant at his best! Mighty Rearranger might be his best solo album!

This is as bad as that Rainbow song he did.

I am impressed how "sensitive" I've became to detect Robert Plant crap... The song had started only 5 secs when I already knew it was him and it was time to remove the headphones and stop the stream... (even though I wan't logged in the website or heard this song before!)
all of his latest work (i.e. the last 20-something years) is evidence that all what he achieve whilst in Led Zepellin was the making of the band as a whole and not his!
he is really bad.. one of the most constant members of the "sucko barfo" elite

Saw him with The Band of Joy at the Telluride Bluegrass festival last night. he was the headlighner afyer Mumford and Sons......outstanding show. You should see if you can find some of that live stuff from Planet Bluegrass. I know they record it and sell it afterwards. Thanks for all that you do, Bill......peace

Mr Plant came 1st in our private poll for the best ever male singer. Who can argue that?
I was just listening to "Walking Towards Paradise" from his "Now and Zen" CD, and it reminded me why I love Robert Plant, with our without the Zep or Allison Krause. He has a style unique to him, and he parlays it well, without pandering. He seems to go his own way, and I admire that about him.
This song just makes me rock in my computer chair and grin. Robert Plant. I named a clematis after him.

I may have said this elsewhere, but...IMHO he just may have the most remarkable voice in rock'n'roll. Incredible range and the cojones to go with it.

Don't forget John Paul Jones. He would have made this bass line 10 times more kicken.
yeah no doubt, it just goes to show the dearth of real rock music today, that we have to go back to a band that has not rocked for real in 20 years....but that said at least robt plant still can recognize a decent base line, and had one on this song

Every time I see "Robert Plant" under "Now Playing" I read it as "Robert Palmer", do a mental double take, and end up walking away an odd mixture of relieved and disappointed. Weird...
Nothing spectacular here. A solid 7 at best. You'd think a legend like Robert would be inspired to show the young guns how it's done, and use a little more of his imagination.
I really liked this tune and bought the CD. There's other good tunes on it, but this one really moves me some how.

Why not, they've been reanimating the Rolling Stones for decades now.
Nice Moog bass.
Good stuff.
Still sounds pretty good. Really like the bass!!
Lovin' the groove to this...and have always liked Robert's voice.
There's a very cool remix of this tune on his Mighty Rearranger CD. It's not listed; it's one of those little surprises.
Rob has a new compilation boxset out containing all of his solo stuff - Nine Lives.
Tons of little goodies, some previously unreleased stuff, and a nice DVD documentary with interviews with Robert and some friends.
That was a fairly decent tune from good ole Bobby.

Reminds me of the time John Fogerty was sued because his new music sounded so much like his Creedence work that he was accused of plagiarizing the CCR catalog -- of which he no longer owned a share. He played for the jury and won the suit. They concluded it's asking a little too much to demand that an artist should stop sounding like himself. :)
That's Robert Plant? Wow. Didn't recognize his voice at all. Nice tune.

dude I swear I heard John B in the back. Plant hasn't sounded so smooth in years.
i think too many people on here are used to listening to 'go jump of a bridge on a rainy day' brand of music and like sunlight to vampires - this song is wasting them! ha!
Agree with Tony. If I could have cranked it up louder I would have.
i dont think he can do any wrong! unless he was responsible for that cadillac SNAFU :(
Great cd! The kind of music, older musicians with life experience make.
Is Live the backing band...?
A little repetitive but still pretty good.
that's right, bill&rebecca, pay no attention to all this complaining, eclecticity in the house. i'm not saying this is awesome or anything and that's exactly it; i probably won't buy this cd, but i'd like to hear it all the same.

This vs Big Log... The Log wins 3-2.
Mr. Plant shouldn't try to sound so modern. Inspite of that I like his voice (yesterday & today)
