Roll away your stone, I'll roll away mine
Together we can see what we will find
Don't leave me alone at this time,
For I'm afraid of what I will discover inside

Cause you told me that I would find a hole,
Within the fragile substance of my soul
And I have filled this void with things unreal,
And all the while my character it steals

The darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see

It seems that all my bridges have been burned,
But you say that's exactly how this grace thing works
It's not the long walk home that will change this heart,
But the welcome I receive with the restart

The darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see
The darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see

Stars hide your fires,
These here are my desires
And I will give them up to you this time around
And so, I'll be found, with my stake stuck in this ground
Marking the territory of this newly impassioned soul

Hide your fires
These here are my desires
And I won't give them up to you this time around
And so, I'll be found, with my stake stuck in this ground
Marking the territory of this newly impassioned soul

But you, you've gone too far this time
You have neither reason nor rhyme
With which to take this soul that is so rightfully mine

I've been watching this "neo folk" trend with interest: I would have thought the always-online, digital kids of the millennium would be into robots, Jetsons-style clothing and dubstep, not DIY crafts,"granny chic" and beards??

Kids these days...  The sloppy beards are particularly annoying, especially from the members some of the "neo-folk" bands, but some of the tunes are pretty good.  Get offa' my lawn you frumpy popinjays!!

Hahaha, what would you rather hear?
Some people don't like this song/group . . .

Some people like Van Halen, Green Day and other drivel . . .

Go figure.

Part of Hell's(TM) official soundtrack.   Sheeeoooot.  Starting my pathway to the golden afterlife: no more lusting after the neighbor's wife, no more drugs, and no more Fox News.
It's just not worth it.

My advice?  Only lust after the neighbor's wife if she's hot and you can beat up her husband.  Only take the fun drugs, not the ones that make you think your brain is bleeding.  And stop watching Fox News anyway, that will actually make your brain bleed.

I generally like what I've heard from this band, this one is just weak.

If this one is weak, I'd like to hear "strong" from them. Recommend one...
Please play Thistle & Weeds
I generally like what I've heard from this band, this one is just weak.

Aaahh yes, the puffed-up conviction of young men so sure of life but with nothing yet to lose. Maybe when these guys age their music will become more subtle and interesting. Until that day we're stuck with their repetitive, youthful vigor. I can't say that I'm moved.

Awww, that's a bit harsh.

Their youthful vigor (and considerable music talents) is what I love about these guys.

This is one of the best CDs of last year, I think.
The keyboardist distracts from watching them live.  Nice tune however
OHHHHH FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK. Make it stop.

This is a good song.   Great CD.  I am eagerly awaiting the next one from them.

Railroad Revival Tour was divine. You really have to see these guys live!.

Yes, they are a force when playing live. It wasn't until I took my Mumford & Sons-obsessed best friend to their Asheville, NC show that I really began loving their music.

Liked this band at first, but the interest has faded.

I was surprised to see Mumford light up a cigarette during their performance in Santa Barbara. Might help explain the voice.
Awful!

A completely uninteresting song.
I'll be so glad when rock makes a comeback.

why did an annoying and probably first ever advertisement play after this song?  Wow!  that sucks.  Has radio paradise sold out?

Best music so far this year, wonderful CD every bit of it!!!!!!

This is quite a mean song, production-wise.

You get a hang of it, eventually. Then, after a while, you hear it again, that soft voice as the song starts, you turn it up, and UP, and then...
...you VERY suddenly find yourself with a 150db banjo stuck into your left ear and reaching out of the right one!

Still like it a lot, though. {#Yes}

Just Be Prepared.

Love these guys a little more everytime I hear them.  Helped me get through a difficult stretch recently.

? I've never, ever heard an ad on RP. Are you sure your browser's not been compromised by a dodgy site?

Not my favorite by them, but I absolutely love this band!
I choose them!

Any song with a banjo gets at least a 6.

I'm willing to go 8.

I view this quasi country crap much the same as Martin Mull did folk - "Whew, that stuff (folk music) almost caught on!" The only problem is this junk might have caught on. Way too much of this kind of baseless, musicless dribble on this fine station!

Nice song.  Nice rating too.  Suck it, ricmo.

Just played in Minneapolis-Great show. BTW, where are some Trampled by Turtles?

These guys are my favorite band right now and they are incredible live. I agree, any song with a banjo is a 6, but this song is a 9!

Yeppers.{#Yes}
just picked up this CD. I think the Avett Brothers have a more complete sound, but golly Mumford's voice is tasty. Great stuff!

I know that this lot are flavour of the month and selling out gigs even this side of the Pond, but f*ck me they're dull, at least going by the offerings on RP. Folkie retreads. {#Sleep}
