And ANOTHER new band to my ears thanks to RP. I thought I heard influences, but find that some of these other bands came out about the same time. So who influenced who? I hear Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Depeche to name a few, but that's all good. I love this style of lengthy spacey jams.  If I don't care for a tune I hit next. I support them monthly, as you should as well,  but it is not my play setlist, but I will listen to 98% of everything I hear. I have it set on all TV's at the house and listen religiously at work.

Humans are basically pattern recognition machines. It's built in to us. I find it fascinating to see how our disparate brains try to fit new information into our known consciousness, including, especially, Popeye.

Why do I ever read lyrics? It's such a self-defeating endeavor. When just listening to this song, I always thought it was so deep and heavy and moody and great and all. Come to find out it's about hair bows.
