Ten years from now, and what we'll have found is certainty
We won't need to think, all done with a blink of an eye
No need for cars, we'll have reached for the stars for an eternity

I predict, they predicted
I predict, they predicted

And they're lies-all-lies-all-lies
Lies-all-lies-all-lies
And they're lies-all-lies-all-lies
Lies-all-lies-all-lies

Ten years from now, and what we'll have found won't be complete
They said it'd be done, but time's ticking on again
So, here's a device at some stupid price for you and me

I predict, they predicted
I predict, they predicted

And they're lies-all-lies-all-lies
Lies-all-lies-all-lies
And they're lies-all-lies-all-lies
Lies-all-lies-all-lies

And they're lies-all-lies-all-lies

If I was to join a cult, I'd prefer a cult with a snappy kind of name that made it seem cool. Nevertheless, this rates a +1 for cool band name.

I'm assuming you have it on repeat these days.
Der Beginn scheint bei Robert Palmer geklaut

Beautiful transition from Peace Piece, Bill.

Another great band (duo) that I "discovered" thanks to RP.

And. . . every time one of their songs comes up, I get to trip through the desert (of my mind) on a cult with no name
Brilliant, as the other songs on this album. I assume many have come to know this band via Radio Paradise. Thanks for this! I listened to Tuxedomoon a lot as a teenager and young adult and first heard Cult with no name on this channel. One of my very favourite bands.

artifice.
Astute observations of how life is ‘unfolding’ at the moment! Like petals falling off the flower that is Life, sweet Life
what's the text about?

is it sort of disillusion in science,
just gone on sale as technology?

I'd say this is the theme for the Trump Administration, but the song is way too good to be stained in that way.

Johnny and Mary, anyone?

Anyone familiar with whole album? My curiosity is definitely peaked!

I've just spent some time on Spotify  - they've done some amazing stuff, including soundtrack material for the recent release of The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.  Certainly talented and diverse musicians.

And it's one-size-fits-all, too.

"Lounge Donovan", you say?

Mine too. {#Wall}

Hmm. And Bill used to play that song, now and again. Tempo's off, I think, but it'd be an interesting segue, maybe.
stopped my work in progress. really nice.
love that wavy gravy piano..{#Music}
I like this—nicely put together and executed, IMHO.
OK, let me admit up front it's been a long week already and I'm pretty punchy...but I swear that I just heard a dramatic cymbal crash that sounded like a toilet flushing.

Well, it's got mighty good reviews...

The piano work alone gets an 8 from me.  Luv it!
Very nice...no doubt some Love & Rockets influence.  Singer must be a Daniel Ash fan.
so good..
After reading the lyrics, I'd just like to say "Welcome to our consumer culture" to the band.

Oh by the way: which one's Pink?
NICE WHAT ELS YA GOT

Would be a MUCH better Tori Amos song.  This guy is pretty flat.
Nice Segue.

Pretty piano.  Song reminds me of a rainy day.
enjoyable track
Huh?  I still think the beginning sounds like the beginning of This Woman's Work.
Melodically the beginning brings to mind Robert Palmer's Johnny and Mary.
The beginning made me think it was Kate Bush!
Wow, very nice — love the piano.

it isn't "random" it isn't endless choice...it's Bill, making sets that work..maybe he palyed CWNN earlier but it wasn't this and it wasn't after that...it was a good choice...and it worked...let Bill work, he knows what he's doing

Another nice addition from an obscure band...looks like they're going to be in SoCal too!
...but - but - you just played cult with no name six hours ago!..
but there is a CD, I got it here... www.cdbaby.com/cd/cultwithnoname

To bad this is only available as an MP3 download and no better quality....I was ready to buy the CD except there apparently isn't one.

Like the song, like the new format too.
I'm really liking the piano part and the subdued lower lead vocal. Interesting chords and melody. Yep it's good.{#Clap}
It's like the feeling  " I hate you, even when I'm dreaming, I hate you."
First??   I think someone is not being honest.
