Traigo cosa rica
Y darle cosa buena
Poquito para aqui, poquito para alla
Poquito para arriba, poquito para abajo
Poquito para aqui, poquito para alla
Se baila esta cumbia

But you asked for them, so here you go:
(sorry, the second column is a little bit crooked—no tabs)
Voy por el mar || I'm just sailing
Vengo en mi lanchita || On my little boat
A buscar mi amor || Going to get my love
Traigo cosa rica || and bringing her delicious things
Ella espera, con todo cariño || she is waiting (for me), with affection
Me dá su bombón || she gives me her sweets
Y yo le doy lo mío || and I give her my stuff
Refrain
Refrain:
Poquito para aquí || A little bit here
Poquito para allá || A little bit there
Poquito para arriba || A little bit up
Poquito para abajo || A little bit down
Poquito para aquí || A little bit here
Poquito para allá || A little bit there
Se baila esta Cumbia (x2) || That's how we dance to this Cumbia
Yo soy un hombre || I am a man
Me gusta lo bueno || I like good things
Y gozar también || and to have a good time
Con la de mis sueños || with the lady of my dreams
Lláme (anda) por mi morena (?) || (please) call my brown woman in
Yo la quiero ver || for I want to see her
Y darle cosa buena || so I can give her something good
Refrain
Yo soy un hombre || I am a man (who)
Me gusta lo bueno || likes good things
Y gozar también || and to have a good time

(?) Not sure about this phrase ... either bad ears (mine)

Ya me anda por mi morena || I'm eager to see my brunette (or brown woman)
FOR SURE!!!
OK, not really.

Now howzabout some narcocorridos?
And the accordion!
Whether or not you like this song is one thing, but comparing Los Lobos to Status Quo or the one trick ponies that were Chas n Dave just makes me shake my head. I can only assume that either you haven't heard much stuff by Los Lobos or you've heard too much stuff by Quo and it's addled your pate.
Well, they may be 9,999 trick ponies, but couldn't this still be just a trick? After seeing them live, I'm pretty sure Los Lobos can just about pull off anything they want to.
After a year of Latin my teacher retired and was not replaced, so I switched to Spanish (or more precisely Castilian, since there are several Spanish languages). I've been living in Mexico for the last four decades. Is this an example of the butterfly effect?
Because it's too late to learn anything new?

..yes, it will play in BCS as we watch a dick hacked off and then stuffed into the man's screaming mouth: Poquito para aqui.
WHEELING AROUND THE KITCHEN!
The longer I watch them dance, the more I start to believe they were made for this song...
You can say that again!
I have played the heck out of their all Spanish singing album "La Pistola y El Corazon"

This is written: "Ya me anda por mi morena", it means something like "I'm eager to be with my brown woman"

Thanks! It's quite edifying to see a translation! I think it's a great tune. Now when I have the opportunity I can put it on the jukebox and know what I'm subjecting everyone else to. ;-)

Bueno ... una *aproximación* ... pero qué se le hace ... a pulir la hebilla como se pueda!
I can't embed youtubes in song comments for some reason but here's a good video. When I saw them this summer, the songs were so new, they had the sheet music in front of them, and I see Cesar does here, too...
I'm going by the sea, I come in my little boat, to look for my love
I bring something delicious
She waits with all her love, she gives me her sweetness and I
I give you mine
A little here, a little there
A little bit up, a little bit down
A little here, a little there
This cumbia is danced
I am a man I like good things
And also enjoy, with the one of my dreams
She already wants me for my brunette, I want to see her
And give him good things
A little here, a little there
A little bit up, a little bit down
A little here, a little there
This cumbia is danced
