This kind of differential is what makes RP great. This is amazing music.  Sure you can disagree,  but it's likely you're a crumendgeon

Just like very bad vine, the aging process won't elevate the quality....
I am from Detroit.  I love techno.  I love deep beats.  I don't love cats, but I love this!
absolute crap

Personally, I take comments like this to mean that it actually does belong on a playlist here. Because if people are getting confused and uncomfortable with what's being played, then RP is doing a good job of pushing us outside of our comfort zone.

Absolutely.  I have this one rated 2.  But love what Deadmau5 is doing as producer for Michael Kiwanuka and am aware of his awesome reputation.

That and I pretend to like electronica and ambient.

What to do?   Keep listening.

The day I like everything on the playlist is the day I stop listening to RP.

I just figured out that if you play this REALLY loud, the lack of musicality and the repetetiveness kind of don't matter much anymore. (as much)
another one bites the dust...

Not my favorite of his, but groovy enough.

Damn it....you're right !.  And now I can't stop picturing the many thousands of "How It's Made" scenes I've snoozed through
Bill's playing cat and mau5.
Oh no, not this again...and again, and again, and again, and again, and again....
This is the second Deadmau5 track I've heard on RP today...
I will not PSD, I will remain open...I will not PSD, I will remain open...I will not...
I usually skip this "group" or whatever, altogether as quickly as I can, but this one wasn't too bad except it's at least 2-3 minutes too long!!! Very monotonous!!

Excellent spells 8 - great to hear here
Help, I can't find the beat!
the metronome bass(drum) is just too monotonous for me. It brings down/distracts from the subtleties otherwise present in the tune.
8>6 after multiple listens.
This was more interesting the first ten times. Has lost it's charm. Boring.
This mix is about change.
The world changes wether we want it to or not.
Eclectic. I get it.

But I hear this way too often. And it goes on forever.

I always tune out on this one.
sorry Bill... just not into it...
The title by itself is worth 6! The tube got me to rate it!
DOG BLASTER
I usually don't like electronic music, but this was nice. Possibly a bit too repetitive structure-wise, but great background music.
Yep, suck-o-barfo pretty much sums it up exactly.

There isn't much point in listening to a radio station that describes its mix as eclectic and then moaning when you don't like one of the songs.

This has to be one of the better counters I think I've read in these comments :)

Eclectic" means a broad range, which usually means colouring outside the lines for some folks.  We're not supposed to like everything!

Personally I am OK with some gentle electronica.  Sounds OK to me.  Would prefer to have this cranked while behind the wheel of our 928 with the throttle mashed rather than working, buuutt......
I dig it -

Obviously written about the engine in my Mercury Cougar...

we could use -10 rating on RP... 1 is too generous for this one {#Think}
Boring!

Exactly!

This got my head bopping on a Friday afternoon. I don't know what a "Cat Thruster" is though; is it like a high-powered catapult?

And I scrolled down to see a pic of a "cat cannon". LOL! I knew the RP comments would have me covered.

Glad you got the answer you wanted...I was thinking in a totally different direction about Thrusting a Cat and well...there's plenty of those pics on the interwebs LOL
Bee Boop.

Bee Bee Bee boop.

Etc.

Thanks for inviting me to listen to this. Just reinforces my likes, elsewhere. Keep up the eclecticism!
high rotation for this?  remember Ross on Friend's and 'his music' this is it! stop please

One idea for a cat thruster?

Cat cannon

great sound.

This sounds a bit like the little ditty on my new microwave oven when the timer goes off. The microwave is driving me bonkers but I'm kinda boppin' along to deadmau5.
Wow) great song)
Casiotastic.  I'm snapping along to this nicely.  This helps with the restless leg syndrome when I've been sat around too long with the CAD stuff.

Plus a little snip from Roxy's "Angel Eyes" here and there with the harp thingy.
So this is supposed to propel cats forward?
Just bad. Sucko barfo level works for me.
Been an awful lot of disco beats lately.  Yeah, I know it's not disco, but this and other EDM/trance/club here spawned from the same musical hell that brought us the dreck of disco.  Not made to be actually listened too...uggh...

Pretty sure I've got a Deadmau5 up in my rafters right now.  I'm going to have to check the trap when I get home tonight.
Henry: Min... Put the cat out.
Min: Why Henry?
Henry: I think it's on fire.

Mr. mau5 will always be associated with the "this is the cardinal sin of EDM" ad that runs on youtube consistently for me.

This song is fine tho

Nobody here! :)
The synths and harp swipes are making me think of Turbo's broom scene in the 80s movie Breakin' .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEoaN9qIxFs

.. and, yeah, I think that's a good thing :)
Sounds better every time I hear this. The cat agrees... 7 > 8
Wow - this is making me very agitated.
My fav' of the album.
Someone please answer the front door!
No melody. It's not for the head, it's for the legs. Bored and long.

Yes, but without the melodic sense here.

My cat rates this a 7. He's the expert on dead mice...
It's alright. If one were going to play electronica, I'd expect it to have a higher ratio of variation to theme.

Well now, new track and the few ratings are all over the place!  I'm at an 8, I like the sheer foot-tap-ability of it.  And I'm sure it'll sound good blasted on my truck's system.
I will say too that the Album title is different....how many albums have you seen with a hard drive path as the name?  Long Live RP and all the new & different tunes BillG throws our way!

{#Dancingbanana_2}

PS - Followed up brilliantly by INXS "Devil Inside" - bravo good sir!

Wow - look at Bill all over Deadmau5 - two days in a row?!
super snappy
Yeah, I found myself tapping along.  It got me
