These guys are in dire need of another hit to fill seats at concerts... and this is not it.
What happened to these guys? A tremendous band until around 2010 and after that slowly but surely transformed into a mediocre middle of the road band.

I'm not going to jump on the Black Keys for a failed tour/pricing, as I think a lot of pricing is now out of the hands of the bands. I'm no expert, but The Cure recently got in a tiff with Ticketmaster who was trying to set ticket prices too high. Maybe the BKs should have pushed back on Ticketmaster like The Cure. But the BKs also fired their management team due to the tour failure, so maybe it was the management team who told BKs that they can charge whatever they want for tickets. Bad advice indeed.
Oasis was a better Beatles rip off.

I do like their stuff, but it's all a bit too contrived for me. I'm even hearing old Hot Chocolate in this one...
I've spent a number of years on RP, essentially commenting that these guys aren't nearly as good as they; or their fanboys, would have you believe. I just can't get past the impression that they think they as cool af, which makes them so not very cool. Just the whole, "look how avant garde we are, black and white baby, we're too hot for colour." schtick is so very contrived.
And now, lmao, they've canceled their whole 2024 summer NA tour...cause...no one wants to pay $100 for nosebleeds. Pompous asshats. Way too high on their own supply. I know that the RP style mavens will downvote this comment to the bottom of the stack since no one is allowed say that the emperor has no clothes, but there it is folks. A canceled tour due to lack of interest....lol....right on...
