Incredibly sweet voice.
Saw her in concert last night at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Va. Sat front and center at the edge of the stage. Wow. Had tears streaming down my face when she sang Go Wherever You Wanna Go. She encored with Flaming Red. Lucy Wainwright Roche, daughter of Suzy Roche and Loudon Wainwright opened. Great voice. Sooo glad I went to that gig.

One of my absolute favorites. When I heard this song, I had never heard any other Patti Griffin. Now that I have, I'm even more impressed with her - it shows her range that she can sing a more pop-like song like this and then bust loose on a raw in-your-face song like "Change" or "Little God".
Patty sings beside Robert Plant on his Band of Joy tour and he introduced her as "the best singer in America." The two of them together were truly amazing. Listen to this lady. Robert says so, and I believe.

I was shocked to see this was done by Patty Griffin....I never expected I would rate one of her songs so low. It just isn't that great.
