There used to be a lot of peaches down there too, but not as much now...You know, nothing stays the same. Sometimes that's good; sometimes that's bad. I knew the song too, of course, but I didn't dance to it; especially with my ol' Grandaddy. He was fairly surly, and didn't take to frivolity as far as was my experience. He most likely would be happy watching his N.Y.Yankees or hunting squirrels, hence the remembrance. Pawpaw...get it? P.S. Nice mug. Surly, huh? Mine was stoic and reverent, served on a WWII battleship, read the Bible aloud each night to the family, and loved coffee and NFL games. He never would've danced with me either. My dad was absent, so I was grateful for my stand-in, whom I called PawPaw! He was awesomely present in the moment and always kind to me and my sister, the lost little girls. Montgomery County? Wow, deep in the boonies. I spent many happy hours fishing nearby on the beautiful Lake Tillery. I nabbed the av from a product that Phin posted. She looks like I would if I still indulged in frying my brain.

Oh, I prolly should post a true confession...
Waaaaayyyyy back in another life - just before starting high school. Our little group of neighborhood friends started building a treehouse (yea, my woodworking skilz go way back) and we would get materials from wherever we could find them. One of the group was old enough to drive and had a truck... yea you know where this is going... One night we stole most of the 2x 12 benches from the high school breezeways. My older brother, who went to the school, said it was really hard to keep a straight face when his classmates had nowhere to sit at break time.
We didn't stop there but that's another True Confession...
