Roku has a fix & will be rolling it out once they've completed testing. Hopefully soon.

As Jim noted below, there is a change that we could make at our end that might resolve the issue, but unfortunately it's not practical for us to do that at this time.

Having same problem here, tried factory reset but firmware version is the same and the "fix" no longer works. Player buffers at 33% and stalls.

Reverted to my smart tv which is a faf.

It's a Roku problem. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.

 
The "workaround" no longer works for me. I can't revert to an earlier firmware version using the SECRET page.
I've complained to ROKU and they at least created a CaseID for it. Their response is below: Hopefully it will get some traction!

We are having the exact same problem at our home.  We have a Roku3 on which we've enjoyed RP for a long time with no issues.  Now, every time we try, it buffers up to 33% and then freezes there.  WTH?

I've been listening to RP for years, most recently (2 years) on my Roku 3, and yesterday I experienced my first problem streaming RP through it.  Problem: when selecting the RP app on my Roku3 it only "buffers" up to 33% then stops... No sound, no buffering advancement, nothing...  I've restarted the app several times, no change.  I've zero started the Roku (powered off/on) several times, no change.  I've blown away the RP app all together and reacquired it again then selected it, still no change.  I've tried other apps (like Tune-in, etc) and can run other streaming stations with no problem.  I last accessed RP over my Roku3 on 10/30/16 with no problem, so this is a new development since then.  Currently I'm back to accessing RP on my PC, again via the same internet access and have no problem.  Any ideas anyone?
