Mescal?

I just had this vision of adult trick or treating.  Instead of "fun size" candy, people would hand out airline sized bottles of booze.  I can see it now: "hey, the guy down the street's giving away pints" and everybody rushes over there.

Why did I think of this after I retired from drinking?

one of my favorite halloween memories from childhood was how the collection of candy smelled, once i got home with my loot.

i recall digging into the big plastic jack o lantern for a treat, and inhaling that lovely aroma....mmmmmm

I talk myself into believing candy corn is a vegetable.  Kind of like Vodka is a vegetable.  Potatos and olives go very well together. I also love cotton candy.  That one is pure sugar, no denying it.  So if that's the only thing I'll be judged on......judge away Mister.

What I used to love were the Halloween Taffy which came in black and orange colored waxed paper.  They were delicious... and the taffy stuck to your teeth and you would taste it for an hour after you ate one.

Candy Corn. It's a seasonal thing for me.  I eats bags of it in October.  It's my drug.  Gives me a splitting sugar headache and yet I can't stop.  Thank goodness for November 1st.   By November 8th I should be completely detoxed....
