Try Slacker ... Pandora and Slacker both have ads ... however if you pay slacker a subscription fee they don't do ads.. On a side note, I run an older version of Avast Anti-Virus (4.8) and in the 4.8 branch they still had URL blocking ... when I go to pandora itself I get no ads displayed (blocked in one of my url blocks), and to date have not had an ad play in between the music. Most of the free music sites out there do some sort of ad and "are you listening" stuff because they don't have a revenue stream otherwise and can't just let music play for ever without being assured of a user there. Only in places where the broadcaster can afford or make the sacrifice to do so, will you get music fully free (you GO Bill & Becca!) Another way I've never seen or heard an ad on Pandora ... listening through my Bluray Player ... I had them on for about 3 hours during a family get together doing xmas tunes and don't recall hearing an ad .. but I could have missed one.

Lately, I'm finding that The National station is returning the most consistent ear-matches for me. Radiohead's pretty good, too.
