One of my neighbors that splits between living here and in FL just found out her house in FL has 5 feet of water in it. She has no insurance because she said they wanted $10k for flood insurance. Just helped her get a flight back there so she can see what might be salvageable.

My brother's place was on 4 foot pillars, so it's certainly gonna be gone. (He's in FL and safe)

This is gonna be extraordinarily bad.
