Time Code not updating in CarPlay app. I am using RP App Version 8.2.5 (1054) on an Apple iPhone 12 with CarPlay on a Nissan Rogue. The time code at the bottom of the song that is playing is not updating. When a song starts it freezes the timecode at .03. If I pause the song and then hit play again, the timecode updates to the current position in the song but does not move from there. The next song will come on when the current one is finished but it again pauses the timecode at .03. This is true for any of the feeds as well as the download feed.
Restart your phone. If this doesn't solve it, reinstall the app.

"Feature request" in the sense of feature, not bug"
Would it be asking too much of wizardry on the side of RP company politics to make this RP Community "Listener Forum" any more usable on mobile phones? I think this would greatly be welcomed by many listeners.
... (no real skullduggery, nor rocket science) *headscratch
I just discovered the MacOS app which is great! I'm just trying to figure out how I can use the controls on my keyboard — whenever I press play/pause, Apple's Music app will start instead of controlling the RP app, is this expected? Am I missing anything here? Thanks
Hi Jarro, the Asian stream is out of sync again... :(
Hello Jarro, is there a way to force my computer to get the North American stream? The Asian stream keeps going out of sync. Right now it is again out...
For the past few days the stream has been randomly dropping throughout the day at various intervals , every few songs to an hour or so between. I have to manually click the 'listen now' button to start up again. This has happened previously , but not in several months. Listening via the website on iMac, OS Sonoma 14.5, Firefox 126.0.
I checked my internet connection and it's fine @ 370Mbps - no other internet/streaming issues. Anyone else having this problem?
Hello, I've been a solid user of the app for many years and rely a lot on playing cached blocks when I'm out and about
In recent weeks/months the facility refuses to work. I cleared the cache, nothing; uninstall and reinstalled the app, no change.
There are no error messages. The process appears to start and then just drops into "resume download" after a minute or so. I assumed that downloads run in the background, maybe not?
I tried contacting tech support a couple of times but no response
Has anyone else out there had trouble and if so managed to fix the problem?
My 'phone is a Samsung S20 running Android 13, patched up to March '24
Best,

Hi,
Our cache blocks are served from the US. It's likely just having trouble reaching our servers.
What you can try is. The auto cache fill feature in settings. It is more aggressive and will keep trying to download your cache blocks while the phone is charging.
Should be able to top things up while charging overnight.
Can find that in settings -> cache options -> cache autofill

Regardless of what gadget I am streaming from, when I have it on the "My favorites" stream, every 20 minutes or so, a song starts for only a few seconds or so then goes to another song, or a song shuts off in the middle somewhere and goes to the next one. Actually, those are the same issue, just a matter of time
.
Anyone else get this? Any known fix or workaround? Thanks RPeeps
I haven't heard this from other listeners. Are you streaming to a Bluetooth speaker/headphones? I have seen phantom commands coming from Bluetooth devices starting playback and skipping.

Well, at least someone picked up my rant, which I generally appreciate. I absolutely agree on the form and tone, so I really have to apologize, which I hereby do, in all earnest.
Yet, since homepages aren't really rocket-science, maybe it would be ok for anyone involved, even big Bill, if the 3d-player script would only be loaded on real need, i.e. on pages where the player is embedded, instead of loading it every time the RP homepage loads.
I keep having this issue with a hardened Firefox browser, which is my day-to-day browser. Today the RP homepage wouldn't load at all, and it stalled while loading a gstatic.com java-script. The scripts loaded vary in stalling my browser, and today the RP homepage wouldn't load at all in that browser. - Just tried Chromium to find it acts normal in comparison.
