I have never met Vincent Price and he never came to talk in my town (that I know of).

However, my sister and I STILL giggle about his character on the Brady Bunch episodes when they visited Hawaii. The crazy old man in the cave with a pet "tiki" he called Oliver.

EDIT: So I guess he was in a play in my hometown when I was 10.

Vincent Price used to be a pretty regular visitor to Lexington. He was friends, and maybe a lover of the artist Henry Faulkner who lived here. I have heard rumors they owned a gay bar together here.

He came to our town's junior college on the lecture circuit when I was maybe 12 and he was a good storyteller but I don't remember him saying anything about that.

Work on fixing up the exterior of our house continues apace. It's really looking nice. Nicer than it did almost 8 years ago.

Maybe we ought to try and have another epic meetup.

Nothing quite like Spring in Tennessee, though.   Glad BDH is on board.  Wouldn't want anyone to get shot or anything

BDH just returned from hunting and gathering in NC and he has agreed to host a meet-up here, as soon as we get a few things squared... its much too late to pull one off this fall, and winter here is a miserable, cold, useless period, so tentatively spring when the mountains are purty again. We'll keep all ya'll posted.
