He came to our town's junior college on the lecture circuit when I was maybe 12 and he was a good storyteller but I don't remember him saying anything about that.

Work on fixing up the exterior of our house continues apace. It's really looking nice. Nicer than it did almost 8 years ago. Maybe we ought to try and have another epic meetup.

BDH just returned from hunting and gathering in NC and he has agreed to host a meet-up here, as soon as we get a few things squared... its much too late to pull one off this fall, and winter here is a miserable, cold, useless period, so tentatively spring when the mountains are purty again.
