Thanks everyone. I did have to get those iconic robots in there - they had been bugging me about it for days. It's true too that I was incorporating an inspiration of Van Gogh and Munch for much of the background and the placement of the main figure. What's also good about getting these high-res, "professional" photos done is that I can sell prints of the works. The woman who photographed them is set up to make high quality prints in her gallery.
A painting I had done last year but could not get a satisfactory image of - finally got high-res .tiff files shot by a local photographer for paintings too big to be scanned. "Ambush on Asteroid L-7" - Acrylics on Canvas - 16" x 20".

Testing out some new watercolors for this duo-tone study. Watercolor and Ink on Paper 5" x 7" The scanner sort of enhances the contrast too much and didn't really capture the vibrancy of the colors - orange is always kind of tough. Have to work on it more in the software.

Thanks guys. It does kinda look like Grace or Twiggy but that's just accidental I guess. It's not really of anyone in particular. I somewhat used an illustration style that was popular in the late '60s and early '70s - high contrast images with textures or patterns filling the dark areas...so there's that time-period similarity to those two.
