Children are literally the lifeblood of the world. Were I so fortunate as to have had a couple of breaks and/or made better choices in life and to have even one little one to jump in my arms and call me daddy I would understand the entire universe unbound. Instead I read about a guy who had his world not denied but violently ripped out of his arms. With all my intelligence and emotions I can't conceive of it, but I can understand the  depths of his despair. I wish I could have talked to him before he took his own life..

On a finer point, a question...how is it possible that anything that exists is more important than free and joyous children growing up in a peaceful world? Who are the actual adults in that scenario?

It's a long story. 

I'm 7 years old. In my bedroom. I'm changing from my school clothes into my regular clothes. 

I look out my bedroom window. I see the girl who walked with me home from school. She's skipping on the sidewalk.

For the first time, I feel love in my heart.
