I'm forming a mental image of Jeffery Immelt, CEO of GE and an economic advisor to President Obama, head of a company that paid no income taxes in 2010 but never mentioned when the President talks about the evils of say...Petroleum companies not paying taxes or big business "not paying their fair share", a company that is without apology outsourcing production to China, something that President Obama has gone on record decrying his political opponent for, and coming up with a thought like "oh the irony!"

So you finally realized there are a lot of other taxes besides "income taxes".  Good for you!  So why does Fox continue to repeat this bullshit?  If we are going to start "thinking for ourselves", maybe we should start by not mindlessly parroting a political party's talking points?

One last final thought.  When I saw this forum I didn't know it was the Republican Convention bashing forum.
We need to start thinking for ourselves.  Republicans have been smeared and stereotyped to the point that I'm not sure that's possible.
We need more freedom and liberty in this country and that is not going to come from the far left perspective.  I'm sorry.  Now Happy Labor Day Weekend Comrades!

Whether thats a good thing or a bad thing I'll let you be the judge.  But if you don't pay income taxes, then you are also most likely on government assistance like food stamps and vouchers which are also not taxed.

Oh, they pay taxes on their alcohol and cigarettes.  That's right!

You all just need to kinda chill out.  I'm not trying to argue with you.

And I am about to go away so you won't have to worry about me, for now.

Bullshit again.   Care for another try?

Fact:  "The vast majority of people who escape federal income taxes still pay other taxes, including federal payroll taxes that fund Social Security and Medicare, and excise taxes on gasoline, aviation, alcohol and cigarettes. Many also pay state or local taxes on sales, income and property."

I completely agree.  The fictional Barack Obama is a horrible person.  I would certainly not want anybody who concocted this fiction to gain power where I live!

No, it's not me you're disrespecting. It is everyone that you don't agree with. And it's not just disrespect, it's a complete unabashed assumptive lie about what they believe.  I bolded it for you in my response, but let me put it out there again:

America is about us all working together to achieve more than we could as individuals. There is a reason they called it the UNITED States of America. It was such a grand idea that the original baker's dozen has nearly quadrupled since the inception.
