I pulled up all the tomatoes and harvested the last 30 lbs. not sure what I'm going to do with them yet.
I planted next year's garlic. a couple of weeks late but itt will be fine.
carrots and kale will get over-wintered.
still lots of cleanup to do.

Thirty pounds. *facepalm* - I finally got three.
Not three pounds. Three.

Of course, my yield went up once I killed the four dog-sized rats that were visiting the garden all day long.

I have had more tomatoes this year then ever due to the unexpected cold snaps and rain we had. Whatever I have set now will probably be it though. Peppers have been steady. Had built a new trellis but may have over-crowded it with beans.  I only managed a few cukes as they were overwhelmed by the beans. Tried a new thing though, cuca-melons or mexican sour gherkins. Not really worth it for the grape size fruits, but it seems to be doing well. Will be harvesting garlic, shortly.

Hard Neck Garlic - when the bottom 1/3 of the leaves are brown it's time to harvest.

Dig the softnecks like the hardnecks.
Allow the necks to dry before removing.

If if one waits too long the bulb starts to split apart into individual cloves. They won't keep as well.
