I'm another who has never heard this before that I can recall.

Yeah, it's ok.  If I never heard it again that would be ok, too.

25 times a week and there would be a problem.

You are not, I assure you. It's not a bad song, I'm sure the band would be fine too. I think ptooey might have mentioned it and I was in the same place as you... until I looked it up and I thought "oh, sure, that song" and now I do hear it everywhere. It's like that Mariah Carey Christmas song; I thought that was a cover of something from the 50s... it's just so pop-perfect it feels like I've known it forever... and maybe we did: Bob Dylan wrote the chorus in the 70s. Did it get used somewhere else in another song? I dunno.

I mean the bona fides of that band are hard to beat. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings in that video. I don't believe I've ever called it up before so that was interesting. I know she's played with them tho.

Have you left the house? Because I'd say 1 out of 3 cover bands I've seen in the last 15 years or so have done it.

I think I voiced a complaint here but maybe FB just in the last few weeks that a guy was doing a solo set and literally every song started off sounding like Wagon Wheel but with a different chorus. I kept thinking "ah, this is it" and nope.

I feel this should just be adopted nationally.

Edit:  I vaguely remembered bitching on Facebook about the phenomenon some time ago. I just checked - I voiced my complaint in July of 2011. Yeah, it's been out of control for a long time.

Sent an email to the address on the guy's business card.

2 weeks go by

His wife or daughter replied "I could send you some photos."

I mean, look: If this is going to be the pace of the conversation, please try to pack each message with everything a person might need if they're going to spend 2 weeks in the wilderness. YES SEND PHOTOS. Yes send templates. Yes send more information. Yes send your shoe size. Yes, send it.

sometimes you can just paste the URL, no embedding tool needed:

But sometimes it's a crazy wonky URL that doesn't play nice, so you have to go old school and html that thing by typing the code thusly, and pasting that URL between the quotation marks (Note that you have to click the "html" editing button and just type these characters there, you can't do it the modern way)
