really wanting to take a nap, and having it all nice and quiet in the condo below me (this is HIGHLY rare)...only to have some MORON out on his balcony, using a circular saw.
all. day. so. far.
every couple of minutes, LITERALLY, in the FREEZING cold... he's out there, making enough noise for a construction site. groan.....

Rather than go back to Old Navy just before Christmas, I said we'd give the jeans to my niece. My daughter was fine with that.
Yesterday I got the receipt that had been in the Old Navy bag from my sister. She thought I might need it.
Well, I just heard from my sister that the my niece isn't comfortable in the jeans, so she said she'd give them to some girls in her church.
And while in the grand scheme, $25 for two pairs of jeans is no big deal, I wrote back and asked my sister to send me the jeans. I'd used an old gift card of my daughter's to purchase them. And I just figured, if the jeans don't fit my niece, I can find something else at Old Navy for my kid.
Annoyance #1: That Old Navy doesn't seem to have a standard size.
Annoyance #2: That my sister would not offer to send the jeans back to me. (Because that's what I would do if the roles were reversed.)
Am I being uncharitable?
Your sister. That's all I have to say about that.

So I didn't get why they didn't fit, because the pair from 2 months ago still fits. When we were there yesterday she tried on the same thing, just to see. Too tight. So we went to a 14 regular in the same jean, the Darling. Those fit. Anyway. Nah. it was ME being unclear. I was talking about the kids going back to france, and that being annoying. for whatever reason I'm trying to get some paperwork done here. that's annoying.

We went back to ON yesterday and she tried on some more jeans, a 14 Slim (which is the size that supposedly fit her two months ago) and a 14 Regular. The regulars fit, the slim was too snug. So maybe her pair of 14 Slims from two months ago is just stretched out enough to fit. I should have kept the jeans I got before Christmas and exchanged them yesterday. they went back huh? well THAT's annoying.
