Whack Jobs

With the boss unhappy, several members of the White House family—Priebus, Scaramucci, Flynn, Manafort, Bannon, Spicer—have fallen like so many casualties in a Cagney flick.

I have been carrying this comic strip with me for years. I believe my mother cut it out of the local newspaper.

I post this with a story about my mother that I told recently over at the other place. Many years ago, when I was a pre-teen, my mother answered a knock on the front door one day to see two neatly dressed young men, in white shirts and dark ties and pants. When they began their spiel, my mother stopped them and said, "My denomination doesn't believe in proselytizing." The young men were horrified, and protested that they weren't doing THAT! Obviously mistaking the verb for another that also starts with "pro ..."

That is actually very funny, but we should all not lose sight of the fact that what Kim Jong Un has been doing and will continue to do has nothing to do with who the President is, has been or will be. As soon as he is capable, then he will bomb us or one of our allies. Good on him for getting this done, I am sure it was not easy, but there is not a damn thing the US can do about it because he has nothing to lose except for maybe his wine, cheese and NBA basketball.
