I went to bed last night with snow flurries falling. Was Expecting 2-4 in coverage according to weather report.
I woke this morning with nothing more than a dusting, which now has melted off the cars and driveway from the sun.
So no cleaning on my part.

I went to bring out some recycling and there were dozens of male cardinals in my back yard - some flying around but many of them just sitting on branches. They're very common birds here but it was odd to see so many of them at the same time. Today the sky is overcast and dreary, so their bright, red color really stood out. It almost looked contrived.

2 squirrels playing tag with their nutz before the snowstorm.
Which reminds me I should head to the market to get some bread and cream to make some French Toast for tomorrow’s breakfast.

The power company has a new helicopter to inspect the high voltage transmission lines. It's a snazzy grey and black one. The old one was just an all black one. The kind that makes you worry ... It's these little things ... living in a trailer park an all with the transmission lines going through the place. Comes with the territory ...

@Antigone. That is so sweet! Averaged about 2.5C here today. Heavy overcast, strong gusting winds. It is gone to be while before I head outdoors in a canoe.
