Some people are saying that they have stopped following the news because the election rhetoric is so depressing yet election (media) ratings are exceptionally high.

It seems he acted to prevent an inevitable leak from the House Committee.  In some sense this may be helpful to Clinton (vs. a leak).

I think it should be re-stated to the point of emphasis that nothing in Comey's statement implies wrong-doing.  re: Something solid?  If HRC was worried she likely would have couched her request for immediate clarification and elaboration from Comey/FBI much differently...or not at all.

In a sense Comey has, in this Friday afternoon news dump, helped Clinton from having this be worse.  It should be remembered what Comey's statement actually said.  It does not imply anything beyond the "possibility the discovered emails are relevant".

Although from what I heard in the car on the radio news at the top of the hour just a short while ago, Assange is promising something that will get Hillary locked up for sure.   Yeah right ... she is untouchable.  With all the things that have come out so far and have been totally ignored by nearly everyone but Trump and his supporters, I can't think of anything she could do that would even get her arrested, let alone charged with.
