Sanders might be interesting. I wonder if he could put together in independent run?  I don't think he would make it as a dem - they will not like his previous independence and it will lose the R's he has now.   He's about the only one not affiliated with the big two that could pull it off. I wonder how many casual voters would recognize him/his name?

I would love to see Bernie or Warren get some serious consideration, but when it comes down to it, I don't think they will because they don't fit the business as usual model that Hillary does. Biden could definitely be a contender, but I'm not sure he is really any better than Hillary, Obama, Romney, Bush, McCain, etc...

Sadly, anyone with any real ideas about changing the way the game is played will be sent packing pretty early. The powers that be just won't allow that.

But why doesn't a fed up electorate go looking for an alternative?  Have we become so conditioned to our fast food diet that we don't even look beyond McDonalds or Burger King?  There really are more choices, we just have to seek them out.  Ronald McD may be dominant in his market, but I have options.

Boy do I ever hate her speaking voice/style. The most grating public speaker I can recall. DiFi used to be sort of that bad but has gotten a lot better. Everything I hear from Ms Warren is delivered in a breathy mope that sounds like someone shot her dog.

But by having Hillary do the dance, a lot of money and energy is being diverted to the anti-Hillary cause. Plus she's a fundraiser, so whatever she takes in would go to the eventual nominee of her choice (right?) and give them a huge boost.

So if not Hillary, who? Biden? I'm thinking he's probably in for another go at it.

Biden would be interesting, but I think he has too much time in town and an association problem with an unpopular Obama.

Hillary - uhg, no more dynasties thank you.

Warren?  Maybe, but that will be an opposition to watch.

I keep thinking Hillary is the inevitable, but the season is LONG and hard, and how many times has the initial front runner even been left at the end?

On the R side, the crazy bench looks to be the rational wing of the party.  It's like they don't even want to win. Really I think no one wants the senate now, both parties are shooting for 49 - maybe the republicans just have a better long term strategy here - "We won't have the majority, but we can still have 90% of the corruption and no one will be able to blame us!".

I keep thinking maybe this year the independents/libertarians/greens/sick and tired of the rest parties might get some traction. But I'm not really hopeful.

Well, see, now, that's interesting because it has the 3 "satanic" (upside-down) stars that the GOP logo has, but the 9 across the bottom are plain ol' stars. Is he an evil overlord or not?
