Boy do I ever hate her speaking voice/style. The most grating public speaker I can recall. DiFi used to be sort of that bad but has gotten a lot better. Everything I hear from Ms Warren is delivered in a breathy mope that sounds like someone shot her dog.

I keep thinking Hillary is the inevitable, but the season is LONG and hard, and how many times has the initial front runner even been left at the end?

On the R side, the crazy bench looks to be the rational wing of the party.  It's like they don't even want to win. Really I think no one wants the senate now, both parties are shooting for 49 - maybe the republicans just have a better long term strategy here - "We won't have the majority, but we can still have 90% of the corruption and no one will be able to blame us!". 

I keep thinking maybe this year the independents/libertarians/greens/sick and tired of the rest parties might get some traction. But I'm not really hopeful.

But by having Hillary do the dance, a lot of money and energy is being diverted to the anti-Hillary cause. Plus she's a fundraiser, so whatever she takes in would go to the eventual nominee of her choice (right?) and give them a huge boost.
 
So if not Hillary, who? Biden? I'm thinking he's probably in for another go at it. 

To me she would be like combining the worst qualities of both Obama and Bush all rolled into one.

Let's see who the messenger is before shots are fired.  Both parties will benefit from a vigorous primary campaign.  If she does run, I hope she has serious competition.  A "coronation" would be most unfortunate, imo.
