Never a fan of SVU.  Don't care for any of the cast except Ice T and Richard Belzer.

I never cared for CI.  If its better now, its too late for me to care.  D'onofrio annoyed the bejesus out of me and Erbe's character was marginalized by the writers.  Hated that one.  I didn't even know Goldblum was on it.

I love SVU, especially Finn and Munch.  Munch reminds me of Lenny.  Sigh.    Yes, I have a sick little crush on Jerry Orbach.

For me:

SVU
Orig
CI

I was sad that they got rid of D'Onofrio and actually don't mind the new cast, other than the Lieutenant, or whatever her position is.

mz:  skinny girl = Saffron Burrows, btw.

L&O: LA... a few worthy actors, but I still have little hope.  I think that cow has been milked.  Lately, I'm happier watching reruns of the original over any of the newer spin-offs... again, SVU excluded.  SVU is the only spin-off that has been worth the time... I almost like it better than the original, except for the Jerry Orbach/Jesse Martin years.  Its all about your lead pair.  SVU has two pairs I love, so no matter who's on leave, I'm still happy.  But its L&O, so I always give them a chance.

SVU is my favorite show.  I love the whole cast and have a girl crush on Mariska

I miss Jerry Orbach...I loved that guy.  And Chris Noth.   I was happy with the last cast, too....LOVE Jeremy Sisto.

I'll definitely watch LA...I'll watch any L&O.

Last weekend, with my 13 yo friend, we were talking about TV shows.  She was hesitant to admit she watched SVU....
13yo: "I don't like telling people I like that show as much as I do."

BDB: "Because it makes you sound like a sex pervert?"

13yo:  "Exactly."

we have that issue in our household. my favorite is SVU, best actors. but...yeah. it gets gruesome.

i did not like NCIS LA at all. yuck.

but i have hope for L&O LA. i like the actors a lot (aside from skeet) but i think it will be ok. we'll see.

Terriers is pretty good but a bit predictable.

I watched Outlaw - silly premise (Hot US Supreme Court justice resigns to fight for justice - yeah, sure  {#Rolleyes}) and a bunch of hot young actors hanging with Smits.

Will also be catching the ones highlighted above.

I haven't heard/seen - who is supposed to be in L&O: LA

We're recording Shatner's new one because its Shatner's new one.  I don't have high hopes for that one at all - I'm guessing 3-6 episodes max unless they figure out a way to make it seem like something other than a cheap Archie Bunker rehash.  On Twitter, he's funny.  As a show?  I have serious doubts, even if it does have Shatner.

Hawaii 5-0 got great reviews, as did the event.  Neither one interests me, but we're going to check them out.  BDH's dad was a big 5-0 fan, so its worth the nostaliga trip for him.  Personally, I barely remember the old one, so I have no preconceived ideas.

BDH liked the previews for Terriers and I love Donal Logue, so we recorded that, but because he's AWOL right now, we haven't watched it yet.

Other stuff we're checking out?

Lonestar, Chase, Detroit 187, No Ordinary Family, Undercovers, Defenders, The Whole Truth, L&O:LA, Nikita, Good Guys, Outlaw, My Generation and Blue Bloods.  We have Tivo so we tend to over sample at the beginning of the season.  Usually around 75-90% of the new stuff we check out gets canceled or just plain sucks.  The beauty of Tivo is that you can save whole seasons for rerun season.

Hellcats is already off the list.  It was bad. Really bad.  If you liked Baywatch, this is your new show.

I have almost no hope for L&O:LA - I haven't really been impressed with the franchise since Lenny died and Jesse Martin moved on, SVU excepted.  Outlaw is already getting panned and the 15 minutes I watched were uninspiring... I only took interest because its Jimmy Smits.  And I will watch an ep or two to see how it does, again because its Jimmy Smits.
