Yesterday morning my backyard Beer & Music lounge was looking a little frosty.  Mostly melted and muddy today.  Image treated with "Platinum Photo" effect.

So I guess when the winds gusts to over 50 km/h and blows the lid off of one of the compost bins, we shouldn't complain?  That happened last night.  Went out at 2AM to check on the canoe.

Man, I will gladly take a couple of months of depressingly low light and winter conditions before tornadoes.

Glad to hear you are okay.  Was thinking of you when I heard your town was hit.

I have a close friend who lives in New Bern, NC and he has been living in fear of going to sleep at night for the same reasons.  He has had some close calls within several miles of his place.  Between hurricanes and tornadoes for the past 15 or so years he is pretty much ready to come back up here.

Went to a college hockey tournament on Friday up in Burlington Vermont driving in snow squall's all the way with frozen windshield washers. LMAO
It was a  balmy 3° When we headed home after a good meal and an IPA. Woooooo Hoooooooo we made it home with only 1 sideway skid and a dead driver side seat warmer LOL

That was last week. We've been in a deep freeze for a few days now. We're getting flurries off the Bay of Fundy. Sometimes it gives us enough snow amounts to rival any major storms. Just yesterday I was told that 10 minutes away from us it was sunny while we had flurries here all morning. Big fat light fluffy flakes.

It's cleared up by 8:30 AM or so, but the last two mornings, there has been unusually dense fog around here.  This was on the way to work this morning.

It was a little dodgy for a few minutes.  The rain has slowed down now, but there's still a lot of thunder and lightning.  We were not issued any tornado warnings for this storm, but it was loud.
