Anything less than a 5 isn't even worth commenting about, unless Bill decides to start playing Carl Douglas's "Kung Fu Fighting", in which case I WILL rate it in the negative numbers, just because sometimes, one must make one's opinions known in order to balance the scales....

That's a good tune - not a "10" in my book, but a good, fun song nonetheless. It wouldn't fit in well here though; a lot of RP listeners are apparently too "serious" about their music.

First of all, Tori is the first concert that I took my daughter to, when she was 15, and so I have very special memories to go with the songs. In fact, we have seen Tori together 6 times, something that will most likely not happen again between us.

Secondly, I think she is extremely talented, and she has a beautiful voice; she could sing the phone book, as far as I am concerned. But that is just me.

Maybe a 10 is a song that survives the test of time. When I was 17 and first listened to Supertramp's Breakfast in America I would have easily rated their music a 10. At the time it was different and highly enjoyable. I could say the same about The Cars. Years later I find it tedious to listen to many of those songs and don't think they've aged well.

On the other hand a song like Something or Hey Jude by the Beatles or a song like America are songs that seem like they'll never get old - at least for me
