We saw that in Oregon on the way home. I stayed in the right lane at the speed limit until I needed to pass a truck. Often, there would be a car in the left lane just close enough that I couldn't change lanes. I discovered that if I signaled for a lane change, they wouldn't slow to let us change; they would speed up to get ahead of us.

Just got home from GTNP, the HobieJoes will sleep in Salt Lake City tonight and will be homeward bound again tomorrow afternoon. Edit: and now Justine and I are off to Billings to see Steve Earle... don't tell HobieJoe...
