When I sell a new design I'm always shouting to the kitchen, "Did you plug that shirt? Who lives in Cleveland?" etc. because it's great when friends buy a shirt, but frickin' awesome when the sale is 100% organic. It means my listing is done somewhat correctly, with searchable words that lead people who would buy it, to it. That's funny. The Nat'l forest is down in SoCal where I used to live and I knew about it long before I knew about Cleveland where I live now. Is this one of your shirts ? Iffen it is, I'll get one. It has a dual meaning.

There are a few tricks to find out where a buyer came from, but none of them are on the Amazon side. Unless you have a FBA store or something, I think. I haven't gotten into it that far. I need to put a Facebook pixel on my website (and get the website repaired and working right). I thought I'd have a chance to dink around with my site, get a proper store set up, but they just tiered me up so I have a lot of open slots now. /norest

I don't imagine there's anyway to find out who they buyer was, is there? It doesn't really matter anyhow. One shirt has this note on the dashboard: Live (pending removal) Days remaining: 26. I'm not sure why; it's not the oldest submission but it may be the only "premium" shirt.

Leave it to Amazon to have a cool 404, though. The 'product not found' page gives a link allowing the viewer to get to know the dogs of Amazon.

Mrs. Islander has a cousin in Europe that overbuys clothes. She is often the beneficiary of the occasional purge. I've always been kind of fascinated by the random use of English words on their clothes with no context or meaning.

FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) says you can buy stuff, ship it to Amazon and have them sell it for you. That's how Costco products show up on Amazon; some people are willing to pay for the Kirkland brand or Trader Joes brand even tho it can be had for less at the store. So if I had a FBA account, I could do that and set my own price; it's a niche thing too. If Contigo upgraded their line and the blue ones are discontinued or the new tops aren't as good as the old ones, there's a way to take advantage of that and get them at a cut rate, sell them at a premium... Or you can just set them super high and hope a government employee doesn't look very close. If I ever get that flavor of Amazon sellers account I'll try it. Can of Pringles for $99.
