OTOH, this pushes my deck staining back another week.
We had some highly localized dumping here yesterday. It was really intense and it happened twice.. One of the local weather monitors was showing 4+ inches of rain in just over an hour before the second wave hit. They shut down marine view drive in three different places.
Yeah, we don't really get that kind of rain here and the infrastructure didn't take it well. And 2 days ago we had the lightning storm with 2200+ strikes in 3 hours.

Woohoo, thunder and lightning here. We rarely get that. It was just getting started as we were watching fireworks from the lighthouse festival - pretty great light show all around.
