Ya, I been keeping an eye on that and they're calling for only 6-8 inches from Sunday night to Monday night. So not too bad. At least it won't be wet snow, which has been a problem this winter.
They're predicting a substantial ice/snow/wintry mix event for my area. Just snow would be preferable, but it doesn't snow much in this part of NC. Ice tends to break branches which often results in broken power lines, aside from making the roads very dangerous. I prefer having electricity, especially since temps will drop to the teens after the storm moves out. Fingers crossed...
Donât look now but you better check your weather map.

They just changed the forecast from 8-12â now to 12-24â and a temperature of -10°
Got most of me food needs collected today and ready to hunker down for the next 4 days.

I want to be either a megalodon or an orca. Fins Up.
I hear you Gene! But as of today we have a new game. Now I'm the surfboard, which means I'm on hands and knees at the bottom in about 3 to 4 feet of water until one of the boys manages to stand on my back. Then I start moving forward accelerating as best I can underwater till they fall off and I can surface for a breath.
It worked surprisingly well.
Averaging about 38 C and full sunshine for the past eight weeks, so in between jobs in shitty places like Hamburg, Rotterdam, Wilhelmshaven and Valencia, it has just been backyard cricket, swimming pool fun, lots of braais, soulful Amapiano tunes, harvesting plenty tomatoes and looking forward to whichever next Formula 1, International rugby or International cricket is up.....to complain would be to be a twat. The lawn is green, the pool is warm, the beer is cold, the sky is blue.....this is weather! I have the wee 5-year old swimming lengths underwater, learning to put his foot to the ball, and assisting with the odd wrench passing....raising another young man...it's what I do. Jesus.... life is a superb experience! Right!?
