Regarding transcripts ... I just heard a discussion about the Kennedy - Nixon Debates of which I was old enough to have watched and have a grasp of the importance of the event having already participating in the "Duck and Cover" drills.
It was observed that if you listened to the debate on the radio, Nixon won. But if you watched it live on TV, Kennedy creamed Nixon.
A transcript is just words, without context other than their own meaning. The context of the speaker itself rarely translates.

And what are Trump's plans to revive the economy and provide more financial help to individuals and small businesses? I just did a word search through the transcripts of all eleven Democratic primary debates (a scheduled twelfth debate was cancelled). Biden said "my time is up" twice during the eleven debates—once on March 15, 2020 and once on January 14, 2020.

I haven't read the full transcript of this debate, but I don't get the impression that Joe failed to convey his policy plans in the time provided.

So our local news / talk afternoon drive guy had a local member on his show this afternoon and spoke about what exactly The Proud Boys is really about. The are not White Supremacists. Their membership is very diverse with about 20% black men as well as men of all colors, representing pretty much the diversity of the USA's population. Among other things they will not initiate any violence, but will not hesitate to defend themselves if attacked and without restraint. They want to end things quickly and if people get hurt, too bad so sad. Don't attack them.
It is sad when I searched Google for "the proud boys website" it did not show up until the second search page. Yeah, Google, unbiased ...

Most have probably seen quite enough. Others see what they want to see.
Works for me in this round of debates for this particular election cycle. Quite frankly, Trump blew it by interrupting Biden just as he was about to ramble into incoherence several times.
Having watched Trump first hand unlike most of you here, he does make adjustments. He did a great job making the necessary adjustments during the 2016 debates.
The adjustment I was hoping to see was no interruptions with the purpose of totally throwing Biden off of his game which is expecting a food fight and not getting one. How many times during the Democratic candidate debates earlier this year did we see Biden look at the clock and stop in the middle of a sentence and say "Oh, my time is up" and stop talking. Can Biden perform without a confrontation ?
Who knows ... the next debate is supposed to be a Town Hall format. The big problem I see looking at this is that the moderator is a former Biden staffer. I will expect spit balls thrown at Trump while Biden gets nice juicy slow ones over the plate designed for home runs.
It's a major headache for a broadcast. For instance, turning off the mic won't stop someone from talking loudly and disrupting the other person's rejoinder - even though folks at home won't be able to hear what they're saying. Someone suggested an earpiece that feeds back what they say delayed by a few seconds, but although that might work it'll also lead to "they're feeding him the answers."
Do we really want to not see what Trump is really like? I disagree that there shouldn't be more debates. Or that he should be buffered in some way. Let him speak, be challenged, respond, be chaotic. That - and only that - has the chance of swaying his base or undecideds away from him.
