From what we usually see, political parties choose who's next in line. If not her (or hillary) then who? I have my faves, of course.
To put it simply... I don't care what color her skin is. I have, nor will ever be a racist. I judge people by what they produce in their lives.
That said... I get angry at many white people.
And I don't look at her gender. I prefer woman over men. And I'm not scared of LGBT people.

She seems basically like the rest of the conservative wing of the Democratic party, like what Republicans used to be. Much like Biden and Hillary. With probably more management skills.
And remember that theyâre trying to get electoral college votes, not popular ones.
And not even the best person, really.
That's always a given. But appealing to Electoral Votes is not the way to win. Democrats won on popular last time.
States are constitutionally meant to logistically manage and execute elections. It is NOT meant for them to decide who can vote and how hard or easy it can be.

Fourth, Harris is uniquely capable, given her prosecutorial background and her role on the Senate Judiciary Committee, to run against a radical Supreme Court that is at the lowest level of approval in history. She has the verbal acuity, for example, to denounce the wide grant of criminal immunity to presidents, the evisceration of voting rights and the substitution of a judgeâs discretion for expertsâ judgments in the administrative state.
Fifth, to the extent that Biden saw erosion in his support among younger voters (including non-White voters), Harris offers the energy to engage and excite them, as seen on her college tours, where she has spoken to standing-room-only crowds on issues that affect their generation in particular (e.g., gun violence, climate change, abortion rights).
