Your upload doesn't appear to be an MP3 file. Double-check the file name as it needs to end in ".mp3".
However the file is definitely an mp3 file and it ends in .mp3
i get the same thing trying to upload tom petty superhighway mp3's ...

No not iTunes, I did buy the tunes from an online music seller - 7digital.com. They seem to be high quality digital files. I used that company before and never had a problem.

No, it's not VBR. It has a bit rate of 320 with an audio sample rate of 44 kHz.

rosedraws wrote:Clicking the link on the home page... does nothing? Did it launch something in iTunes? What is supposed to happen? It's working for me... (wonderfully, I might add) I just am lobbying to have it explained better. And if I know, I could answer folks in the forums who ask. With Windows XP I needed first to install the Octoshape Client. I have then set it to use my default player (Foobar2000) and not to run on computer start up. I have then created a desktop shortcut with the location URL "octoshape:PARADISE.stream1_mp3" . On my system this starts up Octoshape, then starts up Foobar2000 and then plays the RP stream. Song title and artist displayed. I used to not bother with Octoshape as it was such a faf to open up Octoshape, wait for my browser to open and display the choice of feeds and start playing. I was disappointed not to be able to google a straight forward solution so now I have found one I have put it here: http://blog1.dhsound.co.uk/blog/_archives/2009/11/2/4369343.html and google has indeed found it. This one click solution is great and sounds fine too. Does it save Bill any money? I don't know but I hope so.

Unfortunately, the track listings on the album info pages come from Amazon's database rather than ours. If they don't match, no link gets generated. If the problem is at our end, I can fix it — but not if it's Amazon's database that's wrong.
(After some coffee) I figured that out this morning ;-)

ScottFromWyoming wrote:I was thinking the other day that I never hear " Luz de mi Vida" by Los Lobos anymore (even at my own house for some reason). It's a great song but I remember back in '02 it was getting a lot of airplay and I thought maybe too much, considering the topic and all. Made me sad to hear it so often. But anyway. I wonder if it's not getting played because of that, or because it's misspelled "Lu s de mi Vida" on the album info page, which makes it appear as though RP doesn't have that track in the playlist. Just a thought, not necessarily a request. Okay, bye. Cool song. I'll have to play that. Unfortunately, the track listings on the album info pages come from Amazon's database rather than ours. If they don't match, no link gets generated. If the problem is at our end, I can fix it — but not if it's Amazon's database that's wrong.
