Maybe, I can kind of see 'New', but the font looks weird - could just be home made. Fur cuffs on the lady's jacket would make the timing right for new years.  And cufflinks! I can't believe that was a thing for so long in regular dress up wear.

I have a set of about a dozen frosted glasses with the Seattle world's fair theme. I don't believe they ever had a caddy specifically for them. I see sets of 6 and 8 all the time for $100-$150. I still serve cocktails in them, but only to the non-clumsy friends.

Yeah, it looks like some sort of cowboy theme on his glass, though it may be a Christmas motif. Maybe "Wildman" is trying to compensate for still having his Parker pen in his shirt pocket well after work.
Unfortunately, that appears to be the only slide from that particular party on that guy's Flickr.  There are some intriguing pictures there - especially the "Mid-Century Mindset" folder.

Same drapes and wall color, different room. I think this might be the bon-bon girl and her friend again. Nice to see that they can settle down and be proper when required.

There is something on the table that looks like it says 'happy', but I can't make out the rest - it doesn't look like 'birthday'. The cowboy theme was more common in the 50's, so were the poodles, which I don't understand.

They may be home-made, they seem to have large seams on them.  Only the women have the glasses with the etched leaf patterns.  The tall woman seems to be checking out Biff over there on the left - he's got some king of special green glass.

Not exactly these but I remember my grandma having them around:

We have a couple of sets of those glasses with the caddys.  One has a bunch of names of pacific islands and cities in Europe in colors and odd angles all over it. I've searched a bunch and all I can come up with is that they were mostly notable conflict areas in WWII. Seems an odd choice for decoration, but cool nonetheless.

I wasn't sure what to call those things to Google them (coaster-cocktail-cups?).  The other adornments could be fun in the right environment - nice package design.

There are some interesting details there: the clothes, the decor, the low ceiling.  It looks like the glasses have some sort of early "coozie" prototypes on them, but more for absorption than insulation.  They are not just napkins wrapped around the bottoms.
